What is EFT? How can it help you? EFT Tapping Therapy – A Gentle but Powerful Healing Tool
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), also known as tapping therapy, is a beautiful and effective technique that blends elements of traditional talk therapy with acupressure points from Traditional Chinese Medicine.
This therapeutic method helps release emotional blocks by gently tapping on specific points of the body while speaking guided phrases. As we tap, we bring emotions, fears, beliefs, and thoughts from the subconscious mind into conscious awareness—where they can be processed and transformed.
Together, we’ll work on letting go of limiting beliefs that no longer serve you and begin to embed new, supportive truths that help you move forward with more ease and confidence.
Every session is client-led, which means we always go at your pace—never faster or deeper than you’re ready for. This is a safe, supportive and empowering process.
EFT is gentle, but it can create deep shifts. It helps you understand emotional patterns, become more aware of your inner world, and open up to new ways of seeing yourself and your life.

A couple of sessions I had lately can explain the process in a beautiful way:
Elaine - Elaine always felt like she cannot trust anyone with any information about herself. She felt it wasn't safe but she had no idea why she felt that way. She was struggling to get closer to people and give her trust. She was looking for alternative therapy for inner peace.
I saw Elaine on Zoom, for EFT tapping therapy, and we started with a deep meditation. Leading her brain to the source of the issue, Elaine brought up a childhood memory from age 5. She fell down playing, climbing something she shouldn't have, and she felt like she can't tell her parents about getting hurt.
This gave some explanation but I felt there is more to the story and we kept going. Surprisingly she saw herself as a young girl, in a field, escaping something bad, know she can't turn for help and she can't tell anyone what has happened. This clear and vibrant memory was not from this life. It was from one of Elaine's past lives.
This memory gave us the answers we needed so we could start tapping for emotional healing. We tapped about all the feelings that came up, telling her brain it's ok to let go of these feeling that are not relevant to her life now.

Tracey - Tracey came to see me to release limiting beliefs she had. Those beliefs were hurting her relationship with her partner and also were stopping her from advancing in life.
When we started our meditation we discovered that the limiting belief was: "I cannot achieve academically" . We also discovered that it was linked to a specific memory involving her now estranged father. She wanted to impress him with a test result and all he did was belittle her and make her feel unaccomplished.
Tracey is without a doubt better off without her emotionally abusive father in her life, but she was still bearing the scars.
With EFT tapping therapy we managed to reduce her anxiety and stress, uproot her limiting belief, and bring some healing to her relationship with herself and with her partner.
EFT is a subconscious healing technique. It works so well, that sometimes the client forgets they ever had an issue.

Part of the benefits of coming to EFT tapping therapy is that you will learn the tapping technique and can carry on using it in your life <3
